ABOUT DAWAR

Dawar is a service-industrial-commercial-investment-environmental project equipped with modern technology. It processes approximately 750 tons of unsorted waste per day—equivalent to 250,000–300,000 tons in the first year—with plans to double the processing capacity to 1,500–2,000 tons per day (500,000–750,000 tons in the second year). The third phase aims to reach an annual recycling capacity of 1.5 million tons of waste. The project will transform all types of waste into useful materials by processing them using state-of-the-art machinery and recycling inputs, in accordance with health, legal, and environmental standards. The project seeks to relieve cities from the environmental and health risks caused by the accumulation and mismanagement of waste.

Dawar Project Structure

The project involves creating a central recycling facility equipped with the latest waste processing technologies.
Additionally, the project includes the establishment of preliminary waste sorting plants at transfer stations. Each consists of a 70×35 meter hangar (about 1 dunam = 2,500 sq. meters), with a roofed area for storing and collecting recyclable materials to be sent to the Dawar central facility.
